Four Ways to Experience Emory YTI Impact

Journeys of Faith and Reconciliation: Belfast

A 10-day travel seminar to Belfast that explores “the Troubles” in Northern Ireland and how the people of Belfast have worked for peace and reconciliation. This seminar is framed in terms of how we might apply the lessons of Belfast to the conflicts we are experiencing in the US today.

9 days, June 2020 (dates coming soon)

Open to:

  • high school students (including spring graduates) who are at least 18-years-old by the first day of the program
  • YTI alumni from 2016-2020

YTI IMPACT Summer Academy

A 2-week residential program on the campus of Emory University. Based on Emory’s 25-year-old YTI Summer Academy, this program seeks to provide broad and diverse theological skills with a focus on what we can learn by living in a diverse intentional community.

July 7-20, 2019

Open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders

Cost: $2800 (includes lodging, meals, transportation during the program and entrance fees)

A workshop that seeks to introduce youth to serious theological tools that can empower them as they make the transition to college and adulthood

A four-day travel seminar to Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham that explores the theological tools of the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s and how those tools can help us in the Civil Rights movements of today
